Overview
SAND & GRAVEL PLANT
In 1997, Purdy Materials started mining sand and gravel to supply its own concrete operation with quality aggregates. We began selling to the public in 1998. Our current plant is located on farmland in Tippecanoe County near the city of Lafayette, Indiana.
We excavate aggregates from glacial and alluvial deposits and process them via a series of crushing, screening and washing actions. Adherence to INDOT CAPP quality standards and the use of a new processing plant ensure availability of a wide range of products to meet the aggregate needs of federal, state and local agencies, as well as commercial and residential contractors.
